EY Graduate Application Process
1. EY ONLINE APPLICATION FORM – around 25,000 graduates apply for EY graduate jobs. After the initial screening, those who satisfy job requirements (app. 88%) are invited to complete the Strengths Portal.
2. EY STRENGTHS PORTAL 1 & 2 – around 22,000 graduates are invited to complete this stage, which is 88% of a total number of applicants, and 55% of them are successful (which is 48% of total applicants).
3. EY TELEPHONE INTERVIEW – app. 12,000 are invited to complete this stage, which is 48% of a total number of applicants, and one half of them are successful (which is 24% of total applicants).
4. EY ASSESSMENT CENTRE – app. 6,000 candidates are invited to this stage, and 50% of them are invited to the final stage.
5. EY PARTNER INTERVIEW & PRESENTATION – app. 3,000 applicants are invited for the final stage.
6. Job Offer – 900 applicants get the offer after the partner interview which is 4% of the total number of applicants, or every third candidate from partner interview.

STEP 1: Submit Online Application Form
Once you’ve registered for your first choice vacancy, you’ll have to fill in your personal details and grades. EY doesn’t screen out your application on your academic grades; as the final decision takes into account how you do in other aspects of the selection process.

Remember that later during the application process you can be eliminated if you miss something in the Application Form, or if you don’t meet the requirements. STEP 2: Strengths Portal
Once you have submitted Application Form, you will receive a link by email to the Strengths Portal where you will be asked to complete four assessments. Completing all four assessments allows you to demonstrate your capabilities in full.
You don’t have to complete all four assessments in a single sitting if you don’t want to, but you do need to complete them all. It is recommended to complete them within one day. After you complete it all, whatever the outcome, you will get a feedback report within 5 working days.

Strengths Portal 1
Both Situational Strengths and Business Behaviours Tests are specifically designed to give you a genuine insight into what working at EY would be like. You’ll face a variety of scenarios and will have to select (in order of preference) your responses from a list provided.

Strengths Portal 2
Verbal Reasoning Test is a timed test. Your speed, as well as your accuracy, will be measured. You will be presented with a series of questions that ask you to focus on grammar and pronunciation, as well as your comprehension of written material.
Numerical Reasoning test involves 12 questions and is set within a time recorded rather than the time-tested environment. You should take as long as you need to respond to the questions although note that your score will reflect both your accuracy and time taken.

You’ll be asked a set of questions about your social, family and educational background. If you don’t want to answer a question, simply select the ‘Prefer not to say’ option. This data collection will take just 2-3 minutes to complete.

STEP 3: First Interview (Telephone)
The telephone interview is convenient and easy to attend. It should last around 20-25 minutes. It is designed to get to know your individual strengths and motivations for joining EY, your chosen service line and location.

STEP 4: Assessment Centre
You will take part in various activities such as a team meeting, a written report and a presentation. If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited to attend a final interview.

STEP 5: Final Interview
